I took the little one back to school shopping this afternoon, always a good time, btw. We got the new backpack, lunch bag, pencils, folders, binder, pens and a few notebooks. She's all set and she's thrilled. She's got the issues with office supplies that I have, so it was great. Last year we were all about the folders with puppies and kittens, a Hannah Montana and High School Musical folder thrown in for good measure. This year we're all about skulls and black and pink. It's a pretty big shift for the little girl who was once totally into princesses and everything pink and purple.
I asked her if we'd be stopping in the cosmetic aisle for black lipstick and white face paint and she just rolled her eyes at me.
Damn...she's only 10.
