Stupid Molecules

It's just DNA coated in a protein that invaded the cells of my respiratory tract. Just DNA that's entered my cell to cause my DNA to produce different RNA that now will produce way more of a protein than what my nasal passages are meant to deal with. I'm now just waiting for some other cells in my body to make a protein able to bind with the protein on the invader and destroy it...

Meanwhile, I'm up with a cold and unable to fall asleep. And, it seems I missed my window of falling asleep before my husband decides to go to bed and then snores so loud there's no hope of me ever reaching dreamland tonight.

Tomorrow's going to be a long...long...long day...

Katydid...sorry 'bout that, I forgot about the time difference.

Andrew - the cold virus is not a retrovirus, it injects straight DNA into the cells of our respiratory tract...you should have taken notes...
